As a child growing up in Taiwan, I was raised to value holistic medicine, grounded in the 4,000-year history of Traditional Chinese Medicine. But it wasn’t until I moved to the U.S. and became seriously ill that I truly saw how damaging the current healthcare system can be.
At one point, I considered going back to school to become a licensed Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner—the only medicine that’s ever successfully healed my wrecked body. But then I realized: we don’t need more healers. We need more people who connect others to healers—through intentional, dedicated health and wellness marketing.
Too often, holistic medicine is misunderstood, stereotyped, and lumped in with pseudoscience. Practitioners who’ve spent years honing their craft are left sitting in their clinics, unsure of how to reach new patients. Meanwhile, patients—after cycling through one medication after another—begin to lose hope that a better life is possible. If we want healing to scale, we must start by redefining and reeducating public perception around holistic medicine.
In this modern digital age, where our lives are increasingly intertwined with the internet, social media has become an unintentional yet powerful educational tool. Every post has the potential to shift the collective mindset. That’s a massive responsibility—and it just so happens to be my area of expertise: using social media as a platform to create meaningful, positive impact in people’s lives.
Scientific medical information is already hard enough for most people to grasp—let alone the more fluid, culturally-rooted practices of holistic healing. But with over 10 years in the entertainment industry, I’ve learned how to build strong, standout brands in competitive spaces. Combined with my background in Psychology and Traditional Chinese Medicine, I bring the knowledge and experience to bridge the gap between holistic practitioners and the people they’re meant to serve.
